Senior Designer Manufacturing Simulation

Job Summary

TPM Engineer:

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the medical device industry
  • 3–5 years of experience working with and leading projects involving Third Party Manufacturers (TPMs)
  • Ability to independently manage projects, including scope, cost, and schedule
  • Experience working in regulated industries (FDA, ISO, ASTM, USP, etc.) and implementing improvements
  • Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional, global teams on complex projects
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and data-driven analysis
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to engage stakeholders and senior management
  • Basic understanding of project management, risk management, financials, and medical device manufacturing technologies

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with the engineering and manufacturing teams to develop and optimize manufacturing simulation models.
2. Utilize simulation proc/design/layout/validation tools to design and validate manufacturing processes.
3. Implement tecnomatix emplanner/process designer solutions to improve manufacturing planning and execution.
4. Analyze production data and propose enhancements to manufacturing processes for increased efficiency and productivity.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in manufacturing simulation techniques and tools.
2. Experience in simulation proc/design/layout/validation methodologies.
3. Strong knowledge of tecnomatix emplanner/process designer software.
4. Ability to analyze data and optimize manufacturing processes.
5. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
6. Good communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross functional teams.

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in Manufacturing Simulation, Simulation Proc/Design/Layout/Validation, or Tecnomatix eMPlanner/Process Designer would be a plus.
Maximum Salary (US):  105000
Minimum Salary (US):  68000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
