Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Workday Consultant with strong hands‑on experience in functional configuration across Advanced Compensation | Core Compensation | Benefits modules. The role will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting integrations between Workday and third‑party systems while ensuring seamless alignment with core HR, benefits administration and Compensation.
Key Responsibilities
Workday Benefits Configuration
- Configure and support Core HCM, including:
- Organizations, Job Profiles, Positions
- Staffing models and worker data
- Configure Business Process Framework for:
- Hire, Job Change, Termination
- Data change and approvals
- Support HCM‑related security configurations and reporting needs.
Workday Advanced Compensation Configuration
- Configure Advanced Compensation frameworks, including:
- Compensation plans, eligibility rules, and award matrices
- Bonus, incentive, stock, and merit-based compensation programs
- Support annual and off-cycle compensation processes, including merit cycles and bonus allocations.
- Configure compensation-related business processes, validations, approvals, and notifications.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure compliance with compensation governance and business rules.
- Support testing activities, including compensation cycles, scenario planning, and regression testing.
Workday Core Compensation Configuration
- Configure Core Compensation components, including:
- Salary plans, grades, grade profiles, and compensation packages
- Allowances, one-time payments, and lump-sum awards
- Maintain eligibility rules and compensation-related events (hire, promotion, transfer, job change).
- Configure and maintain compensation business processes and approval workflows.
- Assist in compensation audits, testing cycles, and post-deployment support.
- Collaborate with HR and Payroll teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment.
Testing, Deployment & Support
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support QA and UAT activities.
- Prepare and execute tenant migrations (Sandbox, Preview, Production).
- Provide production support, incident resolution, and post‑deployment validation.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, and KT documents.
- Participate in Workday releases, regression testing, and impact analysis.
Skill Requirements
- 4+ years of Workday experience with a strong focus on integrations and Configurations
- Solid functional configuration experience in:
- Benefits
- Advanced Compensation
- Core Compensation
- Strong expertise in:
- XML, XSLT, JSON
- SOAP and REST Web Services
- RaaS and Advanced Reporting
- Experience with ISU, security domains, and authentication policies
- Strong understanding of Workday Business Process Framework
- Experience supporting end‑to‑end implementations or post‑production support
