AEM Senior Technical Lead - JavaScript, HTML/CSS

Job Summary

As a Senior Technical lead specializing in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AEM, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership, expertise, and guidance in the development and implementation of web projects. Your primary objective will be to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, efficient, and scalable web solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage a team of developers in the design, development, and implementation of web applications using html, css, javascript, and aem
2. Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members, ensuring best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle
3. Collaborate with cross functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables
4. Perform code reviews, identify technical risks, and implement solutions to ensure project success
5. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner to maintain project momentum
6. Stay updated on the latest web development trends and technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement

Skill Requirements


Must Have Skills

  1. AEM as Cloud service, Edge delivery services, HTL Language(Sightly)
    HTML, CSS, JavaScript Maven
  2. Strong experience with Adobe AEM 6.x+ and AEM as a Cloud Service, including modern development and deployment practices.
  3. Hands-on experience with Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS / Project Franklin), focusing on performance-first, CDN-based delivery and Git-driven workflows.
  4. Solid understanding of AEM core building blocks such as components, templates, dialogs, workflows, and the AEM development lifecycle.
  5. Strong AEM component development experience using Apache Sling, OSGi (annotations), HTL/Sightly, GraphQL, and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX).
  6. Good experience in Core Java, including Servlets, REST APIs, and common design patterns.
  7. Experience with Sling Servlets, Dynamic Includes, Schedulers, Importers, Listeners/Filters, OSGi and environment-specific configurations.
  8. Ability to debug and troubleshoot AEM issues, including error handling, performance, and caching.
  9. Experience working in Agile teams and contributing to development based on designs provided by architects/tech leads.
  10. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, Jira, and Adobe Cloud Manager.
  11. Understanding of Apache Web Server, Dispatcher, and CDN configurations.
  12. Experience writing automated unit and integration tests using standard testing frameworks.
