Job Summary

The Forward Deployment Engineer III will lead senior execution, productization, and agentic transformation efforts for HCLTech’s OpenAI adoption agenda across Client 0 and priority external lighthouse clients including BSWH and Cummins.

This role is grounded in the original AI Adoption & Platform Operations mandate: driving ChatGPT Enterprise, Codex, and API adoption; improving DAU/WAU; scaling Codex activation; coordinating governance with GIT/GIS; and building repeatable enablement and adoption assets.

In addition, this role will convert Client 0 learnings into repeatable assets for BSWH, Cummins, and future external clients. The individual will operate as an AI Product Manager and Forward Deployment lead who can translate internal adoption patterns into structured playbooks, governance templates, agentic workflows, solution accelerators, and client-ready offerings.

This is a hands-on AI builder role. The individual is expected to personally use ChatGPT, Codex, APIs, and agentic tools to redesign their own work, build prototypes, create reusable assets, and guide others in adopting AI-native ways of working.

Skill Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience across AI product management, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, enterprise technology, governance, or transformation programs.
  • Strong experience translating business needs into roadmaps, solution blueprints, implementation plans, and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience working across enterprise AI, cloud, security, governance, compliance, or risk management.
  • Ability to lead stakeholders across business, engineering, security, compliance, platform, and delivery teams.
  • Strong understanding of product ownership, backlog management, prioritization, value realization, and Agile delivery.
  • Ability to create executive-ready narratives, product briefs, dashboards, operating models, and strategy presentations.
  • Hands-on willingness to use ChatGPT, Codex, APIs, automation, and agentic tools to build prototypes and reusable assets.

The Forward Deployment Engineer III will help make Client 0 successful, extend proven adoption patterns to BSWH and Cummins, and convert internal execution into repeatable OpenAI Advisory and Agentic Transformation assets for future clients.
