Job Summary


Role SummaryWe are seeking a senior Lead Architect to serve as the CTO Office technical leader for NVIDIA AI Factory and Enterprise AI Infrastructure initiatives. This individual will be the primary technical authority in customer and NVIDIA engagements, capable of leading discussions with CTOs, CIOs, CISOs, AI leaders, and executive stakeholders.The role will focus on designing and scaling AI Factory environments, GPU infrastructure platforms, sovereign AI initiatives, and enterprise AI deployment architectures while helping shape HCLTech's NVIDIA strategy and technical roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership & Client EngagementAct as the senior technical advisor in strategic client and NVIDIA engagements.Lead architecture discussions with customer executives and technical stakeholders.Support major pursuits by defining AI infrastructure strategy and solution direction.Represent HCLTech in executive briefings, workshops, and industry forums.AI Factory & Solution ArchitectureArchitect end-to-end NVIDIA AI Factory solutions supporting model training, fine-tuning, inference, and enterprise AI deployment.Design scalable and secure AI environments leveraging NVIDIA DGX, HGX, NIM, NeMo, AI Enterprise, and cloud-native platforms.Develop reference architectures, technical proposals, and solution blueprints for large-scale AI transformation programs.Model Customization & TrainingDesign fine-tuning, distillation, post-training, alignment, and domain adaptation strategies.Lead customer engagements around enterprise model development and model modernization.Define reusable approaches for industry-specific model customization.Infrastructure & Platform StrategyDefine architectures spanning GPU infrastructure, storage, networking, platform engineering, Kubernetes, MLOps/LLMOps, security, and governance.Design hybrid and multi-cloud AI platforms across Azure, AWS, GCP, and private infrastructure.Guide AI platform operating models covering performance, scalability, observability, security, and FinOps.Practice Development & InnovationDrive the technical roadmap for HCLTech's NVIDIA AI Infrastructure and AI Factory practice.Develop reusable accelerators, reference architectures, AI Factory offerings, and sovereign AI solutions.Mentor architects and engineers while leading enablement and thought leadership initiatives.Delivery GovernanceProvide architecture oversight for strategic AI infrastructure programs.Ensure solutions align with NVIDIA best practices and enterprise standards.Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex architectural challenges.

Skill Requirements

Experience15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, cloud, infrastructure, HPC, AI/ML platforms, or related domains.Experience as a Chief Architect, Principal Architect, Distinguished Engineer, or equivalent senior technical leader.Proven success leading large-scale AI, cloud, data, or infrastructure transformation programs.Technical ExpertiseDeep expertise in:NVIDIA DGX, HGX, CUDA, AI Enterprise, NIM, NeMo, Triton, and AI Factory architectures.GPU infrastructure, distributed AI training, inference platforms, and enterprise AI deployments.Azure, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, OpenShift, platform engineering, and cloud-native architectures.MLOps, LLMOps, AI security, governance, observability, and infrastructure operations.

Other Requirements

Leadership & CommunicationStrong executive presence with experience engaging customer CTOs, CIOs, CISOs, and NVIDIA leadership.Ability to translate complex technical architectures into business outcomes.Proven track record leading global technical teams, influencing stakeholders, and mentoring talent.EducationBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.NVIDIA, cloud, or enterprise architecture certifications are highly desirable.
Maximum Salary (US):  260000
Minimum Salary (US):  240000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
