Job Summary
HCLTech’s OpenAI Business Unit is building enterprise-grade Agentic AI solutions that move beyond chatbots into autonomous, workflow-executing AI systems. We are looking for a Presales Lead who understands both the science and the business of AI — someone who can translate frontier AI capabilities into measurable enterprise value.
This is not a traditional presales role. You will operate at the intersection of enterprise architecture, solution design, and executive storytelling. You will help clients imagine, design, and commit to AI systems that reason, act, and integrate across enterprise workflows.
You will shape large deals, guide solution strategy, and act as a trusted advisor to CXOs exploring transformation through Agentic AI.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Presales Leadership
Lead AI solutioning and presales efforts for Agentic AI opportunities across industries.
Engage with C-level stakeholders to define AI-led transformation roadmaps.
Shape multi-million-dollar AI deals from discovery through proposal and closure.
Agentic AI Solution Design
Architect end-to-end AI solutions leveraging OpenAI models, multi-agent frameworks, orchestration layers, RAG pipelines, and enterprise integrations.
Translate business problems into AI workflows involving reasoning, tool use, automation, and decision intelligence.
Define technical blueprints including data flows, guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and governance models.
Value Engineering & Business Case Development
Quantify business impact (productivity uplift, cost optimization, revenue acceleration).
Develop compelling ROI models and transformation narratives.
Position Agentic AI as a strategic capability, not a point solution.
Executive Storytelling
Craft persuasive proposals, demos, and executive presentations.
Lead workshops, AI discovery sessions, and innovation labs.
Represent HCLTech at strategic customer engagements and AI forums.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with delivery, product, alliances, and OpenAI ecosystem teams.
Contribute to reusable solution accelerators and presales assets.
Mentor presales and solution teams on Agentic AI architectures.
Skill Requirements
12–18+ years of experience in enterprise technology consulting, presales, or solution architecture.
Proven track record of leading large, complex technology deals.
Strong understanding of:
Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
Multi-agent systems and orchestration frameworks
Enterprise integration patterns and APIs
Cloud architectures (Azure preferred)
Experience translating AI capabilities into business transformation outcomes.
Executive presence with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders.
Other Requirements
Hands-on experience with OpenAI models and agent frameworks.
Experience designing AI governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.
Industry domain expertise in one or more sectors (BFSI, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Telecom, Retail).
Experience in building reusable solution accelerators or AI offerings.
