Job Summary

The Senior Google Cloud Infrastructure & AI Architect (10+ years experience) is a seasoned technical leader specializing in designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure and cutting-edge generative AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role requires mastery over GCP infrastructure combined with expertise in AI/ML services such as Vertex AI, Gemini Enterprise, and agentic AI workflows.

The architect will lead workshops, craft high and low-level designs, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and drive cloud and AI adoption aligned with business goals.

This role suits enterprises seeking a visionary architect who can integrate advanced generative AI capabilities within Google Cloud infrastructure, drive innovation, and deliver transformative cloud solutions at scale with technical precision and strategic insight.

Key Responsibilities

GCP Services-Focused Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end design, architecture, and deployment of scalable, secure, and resilient Google Cloud infrastructure, including compute, GKE , Cloud Run, Storage, networking, IAM, and security solutions.  
  • Develop and deliver high-level design (HLD), low-level design (LLD) documents, architectural blueprints, and comprehensive documentation guiding implementation teams.  
  • Architect & implement generative AI & ML solutions using GCP AI services such as Vertex AI, Gemini Enterprise LLMs, AutoML, and agentic AI workflows that enable autonomous decision-making and intelligent automation.  
  • Conduct technical workshops, solution walkthroughs, and knowledge transfer sessions to foster understanding and alignment among business, security, and engineering teams.  
  • Drive cloud migration strategies, especially hybrid and large-scale enterprise migrations to GCP, ensuring minimal disruption and data integrity.  
  • Partner with DevOps, security, data science, and product teams to streamline AI model deployment, lifecycle management, and operational monitoring within cloud environments.  
  • Define and enforce cloud security and compliance controls, including IAM policies, VPC Service Controls, data governance, and audit practices aligned with regulatory standards.  
  • Stay abreast of innovations in GCP infrastructure and AI services, continuously evolving architecture practices to optimize cost, performance, and scalability.  

Mentor Team Members, lead architectural reviews, and act as a trusted advisor for complex cloud and AI challenges.

Skill Requirements

Required Skills and Expertise

  • 15+ years’ IT experience with minimum 5-8 years in Google Cloud Platform architecture and AI solution design.  
  • Expert-level knowledge of GCP core infrastructure services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, IAM, VPC, Cloud Load Balancing).  
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing generative AI solutions using GCP AI/ML platforms, including Vertex AI, Gemini Enterprise, and prompt engineering techniques.  
  • Experience in building and deploying agentic AI workflows that automate complex business processes with AI-driven decision-making.  
  • Strong skills in HLD/LLD creation, architectural documentation, and technical workshop facilitation.  
  • Experience leading large enterprise cloud migrations and hybrid cloud infrastructure deployments.  
  • Robust understanding of cloud security architecture, identity governance, and compliance frameworks.  
  • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code Terraform and CI/CD practices using Cloud Build or similar tools.  
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills capable of bridging technical and business domains.  

Relevant certifications like Google Professional Cloud Architect, Google Cloud AI Engineering certification, or equivalent.

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT/ Engineering/MBA or other management qualification.

  • Kubernetes Certification [CKA CKAD etc.]
