AIX Administrator - IBM AIX, Power HA

Job Summary

The AIX Support Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of AIX environments, providing expert support for Power HA and managing critical incidents. This role focuses on independently resolving technical issues, performing root cause analysis, and enhancing customer satisfaction through effective ticket resolution and proactive support activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide Expert Support For Aix Administration And Power Ha By Independently Resolving Technical Tickets And Ensuring Adherence To Quality Standards And Regulatory Requirements.
2. Handle On-Call Escalations By Conducting Thorough Root Cause Analysis Of Incidents, Implementing Effective Solutions To Prevent Recurrence.
3. Contribute To Knowledge Management By Updating And Maintaining The Knowledge Base, Training New Team Members, And Coaching Analysts To Enhance Team Performance.
4. Efficiently Manage Ticket Resolution Within Agreed Sla Parameters, Ensuring Timely And Effective Solutions To Maintain Operational Efficiency.
5. Foster A Positive Customer Experience By Achieving High First Call Resolution Rates And Minimizing Rejected Resolutions And Reopened Cases.

Skill Requirements

1. In-Depth Knowledge Of Aix Administration And Power Ha
2. Solid Experience With Nim, Hmc, And Vio Technologies
3. Proficiency In Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Within Aix Environments
