AS400 Developer

Job Summary

The Developer (AS400) will be responsible for developing and maintaining AS400 applications and systems. They will collaborate with the IT team to develop, test, and implement AS400 solutions that meet business requirements and improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop, customize, and enhance as400 applications based on business needs.
2. Perform testing and debugging of as400 programs to ensure optimal performance.
3. Collaborate within team to integrate as400 applications with other systems.
4. Implement security measures to protect as400 applications and data.
5. Provide technical support and maintenance for as400 systems.
6. Stay updated on the latest as400 technologies and trends to recommend improvements.

Skill Requirements

1. Knowledge of as400 programming languages such as rpg, cl, and sql.
2. Handson familiarity with developing and maintaining as400 applications.
3. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
4. Good communication and collaboration abilities.
5. Knowledge of as400 database management and data structures.
6. Familiarity with as400 security protocols and best practices.
