AWS Senior Data Technical Specialist - Glue, SQL, Python

Job Summary

The Senior Technical Specialist will be responsible for providing expertise in Amazon Glue, SQL, and Python to support and optimize data processing and analysis. They will be involved in designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions using Amazon Glue and implementing efficient data pipelines using SQL and Python.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and deploy etl processes using amazon glue to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
2. Design and optimize sql queries to retrieve and analyze data efficiently.
3. Develop python scripts to automate data processing tasks and enhance system performance.
4. Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing data pipelines to ensure smooth operation.
5. Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
6. Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in data integration and processing.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in amazon glue for etl processes and data integration.
2. Strong knowledge of sql for data querying and manipulation.
3. Proficient in python programming for automation and data processing tasks.
4. Experience in optimizing data pipelines for performance and scalability.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Good communication and team collaboration abilities.

Other Requirements

1.AWS Certified Big Data Specialty would be a plus.
Maximum Salary (US):  180000
Minimum Salary (US):  118000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
