Job Summary

1. The Bladelogic Engineer will provide Tier 3/L3 support for configuration and management tools within the environment. 
2. This position will provide broad technical expertise in the design and development of tools to monitor and manage server automation and related solutions as well as ensuring the health, integrity, scalability, and availability of the environment. 
3. This position will engineer automation packages for servers (Windows UNIX), tool installation and configuration processes.

Skill Requirements

1. At least 8 years' experience working as a Systems Administrator, supporting Windows and UNIX in an environment with 1000+ servers. 
2. Knowledge of Windows OS, Linux,SLES, AIX & Solaris OS. 
3. Knowledge of VMWare technologies. 
3. Excellent communication skills. 
4. Excellent knowledge of BMC True sight Server 
5. Automation with respect to but not limited to the following: 
a.TSSA Upgrade process. 
b. Creating BL Packages 
c. Creation of Component Templates, Snapshot, discovery, Compliance jobs 
d. Extended Objects & Extended Property creation 
e. Windows/Unix patch catalogue creation, patch analysis, and Remediation. 
f. File and Package deploy jobs 
g. NSH scripting 
h. Smart Groups 
i. Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting 
j. Roles Based Access Controls (RBAC) 
k. BL Infrastructure management 
6. Should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
7. Excellent documentation skills. 
8. Experience working within a large financial / Investment Banking environment. 
9. Working knowledge of Active Directory. 
10. Working Knowledge of Powershell scripting. 
11. UNIX Shell scripting. 
12. Database Knowledge like SQL Queries, running SQL procedure, Troubleshooting database communication issues, etc.
