Job Summary

This is a SIAM Platform Tool Administrator position, and we are looking for candidates with prior experience in ServiceNow Administration.

As a ServiceNow administrator, your duties are to design, develop, build, and customize applications or provide support responsibilities to end-users of the software. You administrate the workflows on the software, implement new systems or add-ons, help with problem resolution, and test systems for efficiency.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

Relevant Exp. 2 - 6 Years

Mandatory Skills

  • Experience in Admin, Configuration & related activities in ServiceNow Platform.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes.
  • Advanced problem-solving ability.
  • Good Communication Skills

Good to have

  • Certified ServiceNow Administrator Certification.
  • Fair understanding & experience in the platform upgrades will be preferred.

Detailed JD

Candidate should have good Admin/configuration knowledge of: -

  • Incident, Problem, change, Release and Knowledge Management, Asset management and CMDB, Service Portal, ServiceNow mobile app, integrations
  • Understanding of client scripts and business rules.
  • Understanding UI Actions / UI policy / Access Control Lists, etc.
  • Understanding workflow of various modules and triggering of various events
  • Understanding of system logs
  • Import/Export of data for different modules
  • Understanding of ITIL Concepts

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

Relevant Exp. 6 + Years

Mandatory Skills

  • Experience in Admin, Configuration & related activities in ServiceNow Platform.
  • CSA Certified.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities with the ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to logically break down a problem into smaller manageable parts to solve

Good to have

  • Understanding of the Web Technologies like XML, HTML, Java Script.
  • Overview of Mid server configuration & troubleshooting.

Detailed JD

Candidate should have good Admin / Configuration / Development knowledge of: -

  • Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management, Knowledge Management, Asset management, CMDB, Service Requests and SLM, Service Portal, integrations, ServiceNow mobile app
  • Writing UI Actions / UI policy / Access Control Lists, etc.
  • Hands on experience with client scripts and business rules.
  •  Troubleshooting mid servers.
  • Overview of different integrations like LDAP integration and Overview of Web-services.
  • Retrieving complex reporting’s based on user requirements
  • Working on system logs
  • Import/Export of data for different modules
  • Managing/ movement of update sets to move customization from Dev. to Production Instance.
  • Monitors and reports on progress in completing projects and accomplishing goals.
  • Collaborate with various cross functional teams to define and determine integration requirements.
  • Drive organization to improve data integrity for company-wide analytics.

  • Expertise level of understanding of ServiceNow is required.
  • Certified ServiceNow Administrator & ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist
  • Configuration/Development knowledge of

Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management, Knowledge Management, Asset management, CMDB, Service Requests and SLM

  • Fair understanding of content management, developing ESS Page.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities with the ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to logically break down a problem into smaller manageable parts to solve.

Good to have

  • Extensive knowledge of JavaScript and
  • Familiarity with SQL, HTML and CSS.
  • Knowledge of XML and structural programming concepts.
  • Experience on non-ITSM modules e.g., ITOM, ITBM etc.
  • Experience in Solution design and architecture design.

  • Working on UI Actions / UI policy / Access Control Lists, etc.
  • Developing ESS page- Content Management
  • Writing various Server side scripts using Script Includes.
  • Configured License Management module for necessary Compliance check.
  • Used ACL’s for controlling the security mechanism in Service Now.
  • Domain Separation and designing the Process and data flow within various domains.
  • Developing Composite Service Requests within Service catalog Module.
  • Responsible for the technical specification and implementation of the SNOW integration.
  • Develops the technical solutions, implements them and performs the component integration tests.
  • Understand the business needs and the needs to standardize processes and build this into the design.
  • Understand the large-scale thinking and approach needed for success of the project.
  • Leading platform upgrades.
