Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to enhance business processes, automate workflows, and ensure the platform aligns with organizational goals and ITIL best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, CSM, or others as required).
  • Develop and maintain custom scripts, UI policies, UI actions, business rules, and client scripts.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using APIs, web services, and IntegrationHub.
  • Collaborate with process owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Perform unit testing, system testing, and coordinate UAT with stakeholders.
  • Maintain documentation for configurations, changes, and processes.
  • Support platform upgrades, patching, and instance maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and defects in a timely manner.
  • Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and security standards within the platform.
  • Stay current with new ServiceNow features and best practices, providing recommendations for platform optimization.

Skill Requirements

  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalogue, and CMDB.
  • Experience with JavaScript, Glide API, HTML, CSS, and REST/SOAP integrations.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Other Requirements

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Implementation Specialist certification(s).
  • Experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, or Scoped Applications.
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Experience working in large enterprise or multi-instance environments.
