Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in MS SQL/ MySQL
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and upgrade MS SQL/MySQL database servers and related software. • Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and versions as required. • Perform regular database backups and recovery operations to prevent data loss. • Develop and maintain database documentation, standards, and procedures. • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance bottlenecks and data integrity problems. • Work closely with development and IT teams to support application development and deployment. • Implement and manage database security (user accounts, roles, and privileges). • Plan and execute database migrations, upgrades, and integrations as needed. Skill Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a DBA working with MS SQL and MySQL databases. • Strong knowledge of database architecture, design, and best practices. • Experience with database backup, recovery, and security techniques. • Proficiency in writing SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures.
