Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on AWS DevOps Subject Matter Expert (SME) to design, build, and operate secure, scalable CI/CD and platform automation across AWS. The ideal candidate will lead DevOps and DevSecOps practices, implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), enable self-service PaaS capabilities for application teams (containers and serverless), and drive reliability, observability, and operational excellence for production workloads.

Key Responsibilities

8+ years in DevOps/Platform Engineering with strong AWS delivery focus; act as SME for CI/CD, IaC, and cloud automation Design and implement standardized CI/CD patterns for microservices, containers, and serverless workloads across multiple environments/accounts Build and operate deployment automation using GitOps and pipeline tooling (e.g., ArgoCD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild) Enable container platform delivery and operations on Amazon EKS (cluster add-ons, ingress, autoscaling, upgrades, multi-tenant consumption, and release governance) Automate cloud platform provisioning and application delivery using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and reusable modules/templates: Terraform, AWS CDK, and CloudFormation (with proper state, drift, and change management) Implement, optimize, and govern CI/CD pipelines including build/test automation, artifact management, promotion strategies, and approvals: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and AWS native tooling (CodePipeline/CodeBuild/CodeDeploy) Own production support for deployment and platform issues; perform root-cause analysis and drive continuous improvements via automation and runbooks Partner with architects, security, and product teams to define DevOps standards, reference architectures, and platform roadmaps Strong scripting/programming skills (Python, Bas

Skill Requirements

  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer  Professional (preferred)
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect  Associate or Professional
  • AWS Certified Developer  Associate (good to have)
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) / Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)

Other Requirements

12 to 15 years of proven experience. This role emphasizes end-to-end DevOps ownership across build, release, deployment, and run operations. The ideal candidate will support architecture implementation, troubleshoot production issues, and drive CI/CD pipeline efficiency across cloud-native environments.
