Multi-Cloud Cost Management
- Monitor and analyze cloud spending across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments.
- Identify cost anomalies and investigate unexpected cloud spend increases.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly cloud cost reports.
- Track budget utilization and forecast cloud expenditures.
- Work with technical teams to optimize resource utilization.
Cost Optimization & Recommendations
- Identify underutilized and idle resources.
- Recommend resource rightsizing opportunities.
- Analyze and recommend:
- AWS Reserved Instances (RI)
- AWS Savings Plans
- Azure Reserved Instances
- Azure Savings Plans
- GCP Committed Use Discounts (CUDs)
- Identify orphaned resources and unused storage.
- Recommend cost-saving opportunities without impacting business operations.
FinOps Governance
- Implement FinOps best practices across cloud environments.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation processes.
- Monitor cloud cost KPIs and optimization targets.
- Participate in cloud governance and review meetings.
MyXA and FinOps Tools
- Utilize MyXA and other FinOps platforms for:
- Cost visibility
- Cost allocation
- Budget tracking
- Optimization recommendations
- Executive dashboards
- Prepare management reports from MyXA dashboards.
- Work with stakeholders to create custom cost reports and dashboards.
Reporting & Analytics
- Create dashboards for:
- Cost trends
- Service-wise spending
- Business-unit-wise usage
- Optimization opportunities
- Present cloud cost findings to technical and business teams.
- Prepare Monthly Business Review (MBR) and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) reports.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with Cloud Operations, Architecture, Security, and Application teams.
- Engage with cloud owners to implement optimization recommendations.
- Support leadership with cloud spend forecasting and budgeting exercises.
Operational Support
- Review cloud bills and usage reports.
- Validate cloud invoices and consumption data.
- Support cloud account onboarding and tagging governance.
