Administrator - Azure DevOps, Terraform

Job Summary

Experienced Azure DevOps Engineer with good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and with various automation tools for developing digital pipelines (CI/ CD pipelines). To work closely with architecture, development and operations team on some of HCL's largest and most strategic customer engagements to build and deploy CI/CD pipelines following frameworks like Agile and Scrum.

  • Experience - A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer in Azure

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement, and maintain automated build and release pipelines to support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
  • Configure and manage (work items, sprints and backlogs) Azure Boards for implementation of Agile project management.
  • Collaborate development, operations and other IT teams to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines.
  • Setup and manage Azure Pipeline agents.
  • Manage and configure Azure Artifacts for package management.
  • Implement and maintain Azure Artifacts feeds for dependency management.
  • Integrate automated testing in Azure Pipelines and manage test environments.
  • Integrate Azure Boards, Artifacts and Pipeline to develop end to end workflows.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices for Azure DevOps services.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards related to software development and deployment.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for configuration, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.

Skill Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an Azure Developer
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Administrator or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure DevOps services and features.
  • Handson with Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, Azure Repos, Artifacts and Test plans.
  • Good knowledge on GitHub, GitLab and Jenkins.
  • Handson experience in developing pipelines for these platforms.
  • Handson experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
  • Good understanding of PowerShell /Bash, Terraform and ARM.
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
