Job Summary

Data Security Engineer and Mandatory 5 TO 7 years of experience

Key Responsibilities

• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls) • AD, LDAP concepts • Ability to work with documentation and guided support during builds or upgrades • Comfort working in regulated environments • Understanding of network architecture, protocols, and securing network data through traffic analysis, firewalls, and network monitoring tools • Knowledge of methods for classifying data based on sensitivity, such as Personally Identifiable Information (PII), intellectual property, or financial records, and how to protect it. For Solutions Like REDGATE • Ability to assess risks related to data loss and identify vulnerable areas where Data Security policies should be enforced. • Understanding of how data flows within an organization and identifying points where data may be at risk • Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders and work with different departments (legal, compliance, IT) • Ability to work with third-party vendors to implement or optimize Data Security solutions
