Administrator - Disaster Recovery

Job Summary

The Disaster Recovery Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and effectiveness of disaster recovery processes and business continuity plans. This role involves independently managing support tickets, providing on-call assistance, and performing root cause analyses to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Coordinate Disaster Recovery Exercises Using Industry-Standard Methodologies To Ensure Compliance With Quality Standards, Regulatory Requirements, And Company Policies.
2. Provide On-Call Support For Escalated Issues, Conducting Root Cause Analysis To Troubleshoot And Resolve Incidents Efficiently.
3. Enhance Team Performance Through Value-Added Activities Including Knowledge Base Updates, Management, And Training For New Team Members.
4. Independently Resolve Support Tickets Within Agreed Service Level Agreements (Slas), Ensuring Timely And Effective Solutions.
5. Strive For Excellent Customer Experience By Achieving First Call Resolution And Minimizing Rejected Resolutions Or Reopened Cases.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong Understanding Of Disaster Recovery Exercise Coordination And Business Continuity Planning.
2. Proficient In Root Cause Analysis And Incident Management Techniques.
3. Familiarity With Ticketing Systems And Service Level Agreement Methodologies.
4. Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Ensure Positive Customer Interactions.
5. Basic Knowledge Of Relevant Disaster Recovery Technologies And Strategies.

Other Requirements

1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Certified Business Continuity Professional (Cbcp), Itil Foundation Certification
