Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Windows Server Administrator resources for the Wintel Operations Team to support enterprise infrastructure operations. The resources will be responsible for incident management, server provisioning, patching, operational support, and migration activities across on-premises and cloud environments.

The role requires strong hands-on knowledge of Windows Server administration, VMware virtualization, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. Candidates should also have experience supporting server migration/transition activities, including cloud migrations and infrastructure transitions to external/partner organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide L2 operational support for Windows server infrastructure in enterprise environments. Handle incident, service request, and problem management activities as per defined SLAs. Perform server provisioning, build, configuration, and decommissioning activities. Support Windows patching activities, including pre-checks, post-checks, compliance validation, and issue troubleshooting. Monitor and troubleshoot server performance, availability, and OS-level issues. Coordinate with application, network, storage, backup, and security teams for issue resolution. Manage routine administrative tasks such as: User/group administration Service management Disk/volume expansion Eve

Skill Requirements

  • Strong expertise in Windows Server administration across enterprise environments.
  • Advanced knowledge in:
    • Incident and problem management
    • Windows patching and issue remediation
    • Server provisioning and build standards
    • Performance tuning and advanced troubleshooting
  • Strong experience in VMware/vSphere infrastructure.
  • Working and troubleshooting knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP for Windows-hosted workloads.
  • Hands-on experience in server migration / infrastructure transition projects, including:
    • Cloud migration
    • Domain migration
    • Tenant/application/infrastructure transition to another company/vendor
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Active Directory
    • DNS/DHCP
    • GPO
    • Certificate management
    • Security hardening
    • Backup/restore coordination
    • Monitoring tools
  • Expertise in PowerShell scripting/automation.
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes: Incident, Change, Problem, Service Request, and Knowledge Management.

Experience

  • 6–10+ years of relevant experience in Windows infrastructure support / Wintel administration / enterprise server operations.
