Job Summary

BE/B.Tech/BSC Computer Science or equivalent\\\\r\\\\no CCNA is a must, CCNP is a plus, CCIE (ENT) is preferred. Works with customers along with appropriate internal and external resources (e.g. Cisco account teams, partners) on the strategy/deployment/optimization of Cisco services and solutions • Assists with task/project implementation for assigned customer engagements • Jointly creates and review project deliverables e.g. Design recommendations, High Level Design, Low Level Design, Implementation/Change Management Plans • Builds and/or leverage test environments as required to solve medium complex problems and compatibility issues • Understands how software skills and tools can be used to configure, deploy and/or troubleshoot Cisco products and solutions • Acts as an initial focal point for problem resolution for assigned customer engagements. Provides support for proper and quick resolution of customer problems across an appropriate range of technologies.

Collaborates proactively with appropriate internal stakeholders to ensure optimal use of resources to meet customer needs • Typically interacts with individual contributors and managers; may interact with customers

Skill Requirements

Knowledge on Routing and switching Technologies like IGP, OSPF, EGP, BGP, STP, RSTP, VTP, VSS, vPC, vDC, MSTP, LACP, VLAN o Experienced Knowledge on LAN SW Technologies like STP, RSTP, VTP, VSS, MSTP, LACP, VLAN, VXLAN-EVPN. o Knowledge of Cisco Routing and switching Platforms like Cisco ISR 1800/1900/2900/3900/4000 Series routers, ASR 1000 , Cat 6500, 6800, 4500, 3850. o Experience in installation, configuration, testing and troubleshooting and/or Network solution designing of Cisco routers and switch o Excellent written and verbal communications skills, ability to communicate technology strategy and architecture approach to engineers, executives, and Cisco customers. o Strong consulting & client-facing skills to include cross-functional influence, external and internal consulting

Other Requirements

Prior experience of conducting customer workshops, High level and low level network design experience would be preferred. o Routing & Switching SP Domain - XR, ASR9K, BGP, MPLS, BNG, Segment Routing o Knowledge of emerging technologies like SDA/ SDWAN/ACI preferred o Knowledge of Nexus Switches, UCS products and Hyperflex o Network automation skills preferred (Python/ Ansible/ GoLang/ Splunk)
