Job Summary
Job Summary : Server & Systems Support • Manage Windows servers, including setup, routine maintenance, and hardware replacements. • Start, stop, and monitor servers and virtual machines as needed. • Keep systems updated by applying security patches and software updates. • Ensure all servers meet required security standards and compliance guidelines. • Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs on data center equipment such as storage devices, servers, and other IT hardware. • Support and maintain systems in specialized environments such as PCN, SCADA, and DMZ networks. • Run scheduled tasks and automated scripts used for reporting, system updates, and daily operations. • Manage and perform backups and restores of critical systems using Acronis tools. User & Site Support • Provide first-level support for network printers, including troubleshooting and supply ordering. • Assist with two-way radio issues (AM and FM). • Provide basic desk-side and field support to staff and third party vendors. • Track IT assets, manage incoming equipment, and decommission retired devices. • Escort external engineers or vendors when accessing secure server areas. Safety & Platform Readiness • Follow all offshore platform safety rules and operational policies. • Participate in required safety training and routine safety communications. • Support hurricane preparation and contingency procedures as needed. Mandatory Requirements • Willing and able to work offshore on a 14 days on / 14 days off rotation. • 5+ years of experience in an enterprise IT environment. • Strong experience managing Windows servers. • Experience applying security standards and hardening guidelines to servers. • Hands-on experience with antivirus and patch management tools. • Prior offshore platform experience
