Job Summary

The role works primarily alongside SAP Customer Delivery Managers (CDMs) to align consumption governance with delivery milestones and contractual terms, Possibly engages with Cloud Architects as needed to validate landscape and infrastructure assumptions. This dual collaboration ensures consumption reporting is both commercially sound and technically grounded.

 

Key Responsibilities

 Monitoring Consumption and Risks The analyst tracks customer consumption against commitments and identifies risks early to ensure targets are met. Reporting and Governance Support Prepares executive reports, dashboards, and summaries to communicate consumption status and governance insights clearly. Data Reconciliation and Alignment Validate SAP landscape inputs feeding into consumption and sizing models Investigates discrepancies across reporting sources and ensures alignment between technical and commercial data. Cross-Functional Collaboration Works with teams to address consumption gaps and improve adoption, utilization, and contract compliance.

Skill Requirements

Technical Knowledge: Hands-on experience in SAP Basis, SAP HANA, and S/4HANA environments Working knowledge of migrations, upgrades, sizing, and landscape design Familiarity with hyperscaler platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP) Ability to translate technical landscape detail into business-relevant commercial insight Analytical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, data reconciliation, forecasting, and trend analysis supports accurate consumption governance Communication Skills: Clear communication skills are required to present complex financial and consumption data to diverse audiences.
