Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Aruba Wireless and ClearPass Network Engineer to design, implement, and secure our enterprise mobility infrastructure. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end deployment of Aruba wireless hardware and spearhead network access control (NAC) using Aruba ClearPass. Your primary goal will be to deliver high-availability Wi-Fi while enforcing strict Zero-Trust security policies for corporate, IoT, and guest endpoints. 

Key Responsibilities. Wireless Infrastructure & Architecture Design and deploy enterprise-scale Aruba wireless networks, including Mobility Masters, Mobility Controllers, and Access Points (APs). Conduct RF site surveys and spectrum analysis using tools like Ekahau to optimize wireless coverage, capacity, and roaming. Manage and maintain Aruba AirWave or Aruba Central for proactive network monitoring, reporting, and configuration management. Configure routing, switching, and VLANs to support the underlying wireless infrastructure (Aruba CX switches preferred). Network Security & Access Control (ClearPass). Architect and administer Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM) to handle RADIUS and TACACS+ services. Develop complex enforcement policies based on 802.1X authentication, MAC authentication, and web captive portals. Implement and manage ClearPass modules, including: Onboard: For automated secure self-service provisioning of employee-owned devices (BYOD). Guest: For secure, customizable visitor network access. OnGuard: For endpoint posture assessment and endpoint health compliance checks. Integrate ClearPass with external identity providers (Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID) and security tools (Firewalls, MDM/EDR solutions). Operations & Troubleshooting Provide Tier 3 engineering support for complex wireless connectivity, roaming, and authentication failures. Perform regular software upgrades, patches, and vulnerability remediations across all Aruba platforms. Maintain detailed technical documentation, including network diagrams, policy workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Qualifications & Skills Required Technical Skills Deep protocol expertise: Comprehensive understanding of IEEE 802.11 standards, EAP types (PEAP, EAP-TLS), DHCP, DNS, and IP routing. Aruba Portfolio: Hands-on experience with Aruba OS 8.x/10.x, Mobility Controllers (72xx/70xx series), and current AP models. Security & AAA: Strong expertise in RADIUS, TACACS+, SAML, PKI/Certificates, and Network Access Control (NAC) concepts. Survey Tools: Proficiency with Ekahau Sidekick or AirMagnet for predictive and post-deployment wireless surveys. Preferred Education & Certifications. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP) or Expert (ACMX). Aruba Certified ClearPass Professional (ACCP) or Expert (ACCX). Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP) are a strong plus.

Wireless Architecture: Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-grade Aruba Wi-Fi solutions and Mobility Master/Controllers. Access Control: Configure and maintain Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM) for authentication and enforcement. Policy Management: Develop 802.1X, MAC authentication, and web auth policies for diverse device types. Onboarding & Guest Access: Manage ClearPass Guest, Onboard, and OnGuard modules for secure device compliance.

2. Proficiency In Troubleshooting Network Issues And Providing Technical Support
3. Familiarity With Quality Standards And Regulatory Compliance In Network Operations
4. Experience In Knowledge Management And Training Activities
5. Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills
