Job Summary
As the General Manager – Operations (GCC Advisory & Consulting Lead), you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic advisory and consulting engagements for Global Capability Centers. This high-impact leadership position is responsible for driving end-to-end solution delivery, transformation initiatives, and operational excellence that align with HCLTech’s vision of empowering global enterprises through digital innovation and collaborative partnership.

- Lead and manage strategic advisory, assessment, and consulting engagements focused on GCC setup, transformation, and operational optimization.
- Define and implement operating models, governance frameworks, and transformation roadmaps tailored to client needs.
- Oversee end-to-end solution development, delivery governance, and transition planning to ensure seamless program execution.
- Collaborate closely with client leadership to establish and track performance metrics, ensuring tangible value realization and continuous improvement.
- Integrate and align solutions across technology, digital platforms, and shared services domains to drive holistic business outcomes.
- Spearhead business development initiatives, including pursuits, proposals, and client advisory sessions, to expand HCLTech’s footprint in GCC consulting.
- Build, mentor, and guide high-performing consulting and delivery teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues (including escalations) to ensure successful delivery of programs and client satisfaction.
Skill Requirements
- 14–20 years of robust experience in GCC strategy, setup, transformation consulting, or related domains.
- Deep expertise in GCC maturity models, governance structures, and operating model design.
- Proven track record across IT, Digital, Shared Services, or Engineering GCCs.
- Demonstrated proficiency in transition management, delivery governance, and capability building.
- Exceptional client management, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
- Preferred certifications: PMP, TOGAF, or equivalent consulting credentials.
