Job Summary

To improve the efficiency of the business through identification of the existing issues, optimizing activities, creation and implementation of solutions/improvements/enhancements and generating detailed reports/analyses to improve processes and functionalities within the assigned project

Key Responsibilities

  • PEP Screening & Alert Investigation: Oversee real-time and batch screening of customers against PEP and adverse media databases. Review alerts, validate matches, and ensure proper documentation and referral of true hits to L2.
  • Investigate and analyze Sanction and PEP alerts received and evaluate against Group Policy, compare data with attention to detail to ensure high quality outputs.
  • Ensuring all activity is delivered in accordance with processes and procedures, contributing to the wider team and against efficiency and quality performance metrics.
  • Tools & Systems: Proficient in World-Check, Dow Jones & LexisNexis.

Skill Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in PEP screening or customer due diligence (CDD) in banking industry or Banking Back office roles.
  • At least 1-2 years in an analyst role working alert queues.
