Job Summary : Field Support Engineer (FSO) – France Job Title Field Support Engineer (Field Services Operations – FSO) Location France (Onsite Customer Locations) Role Summary The Field Support Engineer is responsible for delivering onsite end-user computing (EUC) and field support services across customer locations in France. The role focuses on incident resolution, IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities, asset lifecycle management, workplace technology support, and ensuring high customer satisfaction while meeting service-level commitments. The engineer serves as the local face of IT support, providing hands-on technical assistance for end-user devices, peripherals, meeting room technologies, and workplace infrastructure. Key Responsibilities End User Support Provide onsite Level 1.5 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals. Troubleshoot hardware and software incidents within agreed SLA timelines. Support Windows, macOS, Linux, and specialized business devices where applicable. Manage user account-related issues and coordinate with backend support teams. Field Services Operations Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities. Conduct device deployments, refresh programs, imaging, and replacements. Support workplace technology requests and break-fix activities. Coordinate dispatch activities and vendor engagements when required. Meeting Room & Collaboration Support Support conference room equipment and audio/video systems. Provide executive and VIP support during business-critical meetings. Troubleshoot Microsoft Teams Rooms and collaboration technologies. Asset & Inventory Management Maintain asset inventory records. Track hardware lifecycle activities. Support device logistics, returns, and disposal processes. Ensure compliance with customer asset management procedures. Security & Compliance Adhere to customer security policies and IT standards. Assist with endpoint security, software patching, and compliance activities. Follow change and incident management processes. Customer Engagement Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high CSAT scores. Communicate effectively with local business users and global IT teams. Provide regular updates on incident progress and resolution status.
