Job Description – Analyst – Treasury Operations (UK Insurance)
Position: - Analyst – Treasury Operations
Department: - Finance & Accounting – Treasury Operations
Role Summary
The Analyst will be responsible for supporting treasury and finance operations for UK Insurance clients, including suspense account investigations, reconciliation activities, treasury transaction processing, journal uploads, payment investigations, reporting, and month-end controls. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work within a controlled financial environment while meeting operational SLAs and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Treasury & Reconciliation Operations
•    Perform daily investigation and resolution of suspense account transactions.
•    Conduct periodic review and analysis of outstanding balances and unresolved items.
•    Execute daily and monthly reconciliation activities across banks, ledgers, and control accounts.
•    Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks within agreed timelines.
•    Maintain supporting documentation and audit trails for all reconciliations.
Financial Processing
•    Process treasury-related transactions in accordance with established procedures.
•    Upload and validate financial journals within ERP systems.
•    Review transaction logs and identify exceptions requiring resolution.
•    Support payment-related activities, including transaction amendments and cancellations where required.
Reporting & Controls
•    Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
•    Ensure compliance with internal controls, governance standards, and client requirements.
•    Maintain accurate records to support internal and external audits.
Query & Stakeholder Management
•    Investigate and resolve finance and treasury-related queries from internal stakeholders.
•    Liaise with operational teams to obtain information and address exceptions.
•    Escalate unresolved issues appropriately and within agreed timelines.
Continuous Improvement
•    Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation.
•    Participate in transformation, quality, and efficiency improvement initiatives.
•    Contribute to updating process documentation and standard operating procedures.

Other Requirements

Educational Qualification
•    B.Com / M.Com / BBA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.

•    2–5 years of experience in Treasury Operations, Finance & Accounting, Banking Operations, Insurance Operations, or Financial Reconciliations.
•    Experience in UK Insurance or Financial Services environment will be an added advantage.
