Job Summary

This role provides visionary leadership to drive the creation and execution of complex, enterprise-scale System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions using advanced digital design, verification, and embedded programming technologies. The individual delivers strategic impact by aligning solution architectures with business objectives, fostering innovation, and ensuring governance across high-value programs. They champion technology adoption, operational excellence, and industry compliance throughout the solution lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead enterprise-wide SoC solution architecture using Verilog, UVM, C, and C++, integrating cutting-edge design and verification methodologies for robust, scalable platforms.
2. Direct strategic planning and execution of SoC program roadmaps, leveraging advanced digital design tools and embedded software to drive measurable business transformation.
3. Establish and enforce governance frameworks, risk mitigation protocols, and quality standards across all SoC initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
4. Collaborate with executive leadership, clients, and technology partners to identify opportunities for competitive advantage through innovative SoC solutions and emerging technology integration.
5. Oversee financial and operational management of multi-million-dollar SoC programs, ensuring program delivery meets business expectations, budget constraints, and risk management criteria.
6. Mentor and develop high-performing SoC design and engineering teams, promoting a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and accountability.
7. Evaluate and integrate emerging SoC technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance solution capability and maintain a leadership position in the industry.

Skill Requirements

1. Expert proficiency in SoC architecture, digital design, and verification using Verilog and UVM.
2. Excellent knowledge of embedded programming with C and C++ for SoC platforms.
3. Advanced proficiency in managing large-scale solution design, integration, and delivery in enterprise environments.
4. Strong understanding of digital hardware verification methodologies, risk management, and industry standards for SoC development.
5. Excellent strategic thinking and ability to translate business needs into innovative technical solutions.
6. Proven leadership in cross-functional team building, mentoring, and governance of complex solution initiatives.

Other Requirements

1. Recommended: Certification in Advanced Digital Design, such as IEEE Certified Professional for SoC Design, or ARM Accredited Engineer.
2. Optional but valuable: ISTQB Advanced Test Manager, PMI-PMP for program management of large solution initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
