Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP SCM Consultant to support and optimize end-to-end supply chain processes across demand planning, supply planning, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to deliver support, enhancements, and transformation initiatives within SAP Supply Chain Management solutions. Key Responsibilities
Provide L2/L3 support for SAP SCM solutions.
Analyze business requirements and design scalable supply chain solutions.
Support and enhance Supply Chain Planning processes, including Demand Planning (DP) and Supply Network Planning (SNP).
Configure and maintain SAP SCM/APO modules and related integrations.
Manage incidents, service requests, enhancements, and problem tickets.
Perform root cause analysis and resolve functional issues impacting supply chain operations.
Collaborate with business teams across Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Warehousing, and Distribution.
Participate in testing, deployment, release management, and go-live support activities.
Develop functional specifications, process documentation, and training materials.
Drive continuous process improvement and supply chain optimization initiatives.
Required Skills
4–8 years of SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP SCM/APO.
Hands-on experience in:
Demand Planning (DP)
Supply Network Planning (SNP)
Production Planning
Inventory Optimization
Logistics and Distribution Processes
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain processes.
Experience in integration with SAP MM, SD, PP, WM/EWM, and Logistics applications.
Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in AMS and project delivery environments.
Preferred Skills
Experience with SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning). SAP IBP is used for integrated demand and supply planning and is a key evolution of SAP SCM planning capabilities.
Knowledge of SAP EWM, TM, Ariba, or Logistics Execution.
Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain transformation programs.
Understanding of Supply Chain Analytics and KPI reporting.
ITIL Foundation certification.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or related discipline.
SAP SCM/APO or SAP IBP certification preferred.
