Job Summary

The Test Specialist at HCL will be responsible for End-to-end functional testing using tools like Selenium in software testing projects. The primary objective will be to ensure the quality and reliability of software products through comprehensive testing procedures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform end-to-end functional testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure they are resolved before release
2. Develop and execute automated test scripts using selenium for efficient and effective testing processes
3. Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand project requirements and develop test plans accordingly
4. Analyze test results, identify issues, and communicate findings to stakeholders for necessary actions
5. Participate in the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in end-to-end functional testing methodologies and best practices
2. Experience in using selenium for automated testing and strong understanding of software testing principles
3. Ability to analyze complex software systems to design comprehensive test scenarios
4. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues effectively
5. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with stakeholders and project teams effectively

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in software testing or Selenium automation testing would be a plus

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
