We are looking for a System Engineer who is well versed in Telecom Domain to join us! In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing telecom protocol stacks to enable 2G/3G telecom network elements.
In a typical day as a System Engineer, you would:
• Participate in different Agile ceremonies
• Part of the SCRUM team, you will
o Design, Develop and Unit Test high performance code on Linux etc.,
o Contributing to User Stories based on the expected behaviour of the System/Network Element Features.
o Release Planning based on Development Effort
o Sprint Planning based on User Stories and Defect Fixes
o Sprint Execution based on Scaled Agile Framework
If you have the following Experience, Skills, Education and domain skills.
o Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in communication engineering/computer science/information systems or equivalent
o 5-15 years of Experience.
• Domain: Telecom
• Mandatory skills
o Experience in System Software development on C/C++ in telecom domain with expertise in Socket programming, TCP/IP.
o Excellent proficiency in object orientation & design patterns, Protocol (SS7-MAP/ DIAMETER/SIP) Development; OS fundamentals, Networking basics, Shell scripting.
o IMS protocols (SIP, Diameter).
o IN telecom protocols (CAMEL, INAP, MAP, TCAP).
o Troubleshoot software issues working with different stakeholders to solve technical issues, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good to have:
o Experience in Building test tools that validate the system platform/application.
o DevOps knowledge with CI/CD pipeline (like Jenkins).
o Ansible, python and Jenkins working knowledge.
o Agile, SAFe, Jira.
• Soft skills
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Ability to combine teamwork with individual contributions
