Job Summary

The Azure Data Solutions Architect leads the design and implementation of enterprise-scale data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics. This role provides architectural leadership, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with business strategy and industry best practices. The architect drives innovation, enforces governance, and mentors teams to deliver high-quality, future-ready data platforms that support organizational transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build API-based ingestion framework for external systems
  • Develop scalable ADF pipelines for batch and real-time ingestion
  • Define data flow, ETL/ELT patterns, and ingestion architecture
  • Integrate multiple source systems via secure REST/API connectors
  • Ensure data quality, error handling, logging, and monitoring
  • Collaborate with architecture and platform teams to align with enterprise standards

Skill Requirements

  • Strong hands-on with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Experience with API integration (REST, OAuth, pagination, retries)
  • Solid expertise in ETL/ELT pipeline design
  • Proficiency in Python / SQL for data processing
  • Experience in building scalable ingestion frameworks

Other Requirements

1. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (Recommended)
2. Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (Optional But Valuable

Snowflake skill
Exposure to event-driven / streaming ingestion patterns
Knowledge of data validation and pipeline monitoring
