Azure Data Engineer

Job Summary

As a Developer specializing in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and SQL at HCL, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining data pipelines using Azure Data Factory to support business intelligence and analytics requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand data integration needs and ensure data accuracy, reliability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop data pipelines utilizing azure data factory to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
2. Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to optimize data flow and pipeline performance.
3. Implement data security and compliance standards within azure data factory environment.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data pipelines and sql databases.
5. Create and maintain technical documentation for data pipelines and processes.
6. Stay updated on the latest azure data factory features and best practices to enhance data integration processes.

Skill Requirements

1. Understanding of azure data factory (adf) to develop and manage data pipelines.
2. Familiarity with sql for data querying, manipulation, and optimization.
3. Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.
4. Familiarity with cloud services, specifically microsoft azure.
5. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholder

Other Requirements

1.Microsoft Certified1.Azure Data Engineer Associate certification is preferred but not mandatory.
