Azure DevOps Lead Technical Consultant

Summary

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for configuring and managing Azure DevOps pipelines, scripting automation tasks, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and managing infrastructure as code using Terraform. The role requires a strong technical background in cloud-based DevOps practices and scripting.

Responsibilities

 

  • Configure, manage, and optimize Azure DevOps build and release pipelines
  • Develop automation scripts to streamline deployment processes
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD workflows
  • Manage infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve deployment efficiency
  • Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline and infrastructure issues

 

Skill Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Fluency in English
  • Proven experience with Azure DevOps, including pipelines, repos, and boards
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and implementation
  • Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform
  • Experience in a technical or engineering role related to DevOps or cloud infrastructure

 

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of additional scripting or programming languages
  • Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Understanding of security best practices in DevOps
