Azure DevOps Lead Technical Consultant

Job Summary

The Lead Consultant for DevOps Solutions in Azure is responsible for managing and implementing DevOps practices using Azure DevOps. The primary goal is to optimize the software development lifecycle by enhancing collaboration, automation, and integration between development and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

JRSS for Ops Engineer role in Central Ops Team (Business Lending tribe)

 

Candidate must have either good Windows or Linux administration skills. Candidate having both the skills will be welcome.

 

Windows Administration:

  • Managing Windows server environments
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS
  • Proven experience in Certificate management, Windows Registry (Regedit), Patching

Linux Administration

  • Better OSI layers and infrastructure concepts
  • Linux Red Hat administration, specifically security topics, Bash scripting
  • Middleware: Weblogic / WebSphere / JBoss / Tomcat
  • Web Servers: anything Apache related

 

Common skills:

  • GIT
  • Certificate Management
  • Proven automation experience - Ansible, Azure pipelines, Python
  • SQL knowledge (CRUD operations)
  • Networking knowledge, including LAN/WAN concepts, NGINX / Proxy concepts
  • Proven AI knowledge
  • Ability to manage migrations, upgrades, and new implementations
  • Proficiency in English with very good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams/people.
  • Experience with ticket management tool. For e.g., Incident & Change Management within ServiceNow.
  • Willingness to learn
