Job Summary

Role Overview

The Azure Architect will be responsible for managing and supporting Azure cloud infrastructure and services. This role focuses on building and automating cloud solutions while ensuring adherence to Azure best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Azure resources including compute, storage, and automation services.
  • Develop and maintain automation workflows using Automation Accounts and Runbooks.
  • Implement governance and security using Azure Policy .
  • Build event-driven solutions using Azure Functions and Event Grid.
  • To  troubleshoot infrastructure and networking issues when required
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and support cloud solutions.

Skill Requirements

  • Experience with Azure services:
    • Virtual Machines (VMs)
    • Storage Accounts
    • Automation Accounts & Runbooks
    • Azure Policy
    • Azure Functions
    • Event Grid
    • Azure Key Vault
  • Basic knowledge of Azure Networking:
    • VNet Peering, Network, Security Groups (NSGs), Ports and connectivity
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
  • Understanding of cloud security and governance best practices

Other Requirements

  • 8+years of experience in Azure cloud or similar roles
  • Hands-on experience in deploying and managing Azure environments
