Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with 8+ years of expertise in Data Warehousing, ETL Development, Reporting, and Business Intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge in Advanced SQL, Data Modeling, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Scheduling Tools such as AutoSys.

The role involves designing, developing, and supporting scalable data solutions, optimizing database performance, building robust ETL pipelines, and delivering high-quality reporting and analytics capabilities to business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale Data Warehouse solutions.
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, and Indexes.
  • Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Design and implement dimensional models including Star and Snowflake schemas.
  • Apply normalization and denormalization techniques to support business and reporting requirements.
  • Develop and support ETL processes using SSIS and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Create, maintain, and optimize reports using SSRS.
  • Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Build Power BI semantic models, DAX calculations, and data visualizations.
  • Schedule, monitor, and support batch jobs using AutoSys or similar scheduling tools.
  • Work closely with business users, analysts, and development teams to gather and understand data requirements.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and governance standards are maintained.
  • Provide production support and resolve data-related issues within agreed SLAs.
