Job Summary

The TMS is at the heart of our global outbound operations and the primary driver behind our transport logistics. In order for the TMS to run smoothly we require a TMS SuperUser to enable it. In this role, you will act as our in-house expert and will ensure that our Volvo cars get from A to B smoothly, efficiently, and innovatively.

You will be part of the Global Outbound Deployment team located in Gothenburg (Sweden) and you will work in an international environment together with colleagues based in the US and China.

Skill Requirements

We believe you have:

  • Relevant experience of at least +5 years in supply chain and logistics, or quivalent combination of University education and work experience
  • Experience implementing and configuring TMS systems in an OEM environment is a diferenciating factor
  • Experience working in or implementing ProAct TMS desirable, but not required
  • Experience in supporting / managing IT applications
  • Ability to work in, and understand multiple systems and their interactions
  • Basic project management skills
  • Ability to prioritise in a high demanding area
  • Ability to develop and maintain cross-functional and global networks
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Good communication and cooperative skills
  • Knowledge of the Volvo IT systems (ATACQ, TMS, Ihub, Vista) are meritorious
  • Experience in working with Power BI and/or developing or understanding RPA processess are a plus
  • Fluent in English (written/spoken)
