What we offer
Within Active Suspension we are developing the complete software stack inhouse and on top of that the function applications. We are now looking for a System Engineer/Architect to strengthen our team, that have passion for the customer experience, function and embedded software development.
System engineer and Base SW architecture teams are working in collaboration with our Function SW, Base software and SW factory teams. These cross functional teams working with the full software stack development, developing control algorithms for our functions and all tool chains needed for our development to achieve the best active chassis for our vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
What you will do
You will be working in our in-house software team that develops software for Suspension and TPMS systems in both Suspension ECU and Central ECU of the vehicle.
You will work closely with system engineers, system architects, safety engineers, developers, test engineers, and may take cross-function tasks depending on the need of the project.
Your main focus will be:
- Systemization of Application SW and Base SW functionality for both active and passive suspension variants.
- Managing requirements to fulfil automotive standards including system safety and cyber security.
- Initiate and lead early phase activities such as FMEA, TARA and HARA.
- Cascading system requirements based on customer function requirements to our development teams.
- Driving system, functional and architectural development. System design, Software Architecture, and SW integration.
- Driving software development and fault tracing activities during the industrialization phase. You can provide new ideas to continuously improve the product portfolio.
Skill Requirements
Competence profile:
- Around 10 years of relevant work experience working with embedded SW and Function development.
- At least 5 years of experience in C/C++ and/or Matlab/Simulink.
- At least 5 years of experience in real-time embedded system development.
- Experience with System Design involving Autosar nodes.
- Having knowledge of UDS (Unified Diagnostic Service).
- Having knowledge of Automotive communication protocols preferably Ethernet and/or CAN.
- Familiarity with System Safety ISO26262 and cyber security standards in Automotive.C++
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Good at initiating communication and/or leading the project when needed.
- Experience with SystemWeaver and/or Elektra requirement tools.
- Ability and experience to lead cross functional tasks.
- Analytical thinking.
- You have a genuine passion for cars, you like driving, and have experience within automotive. It is crucial to have a deep understanding of how a customer experiences our product (very meritorious if you have experience from Chassis or Vehicle Dynamics).
- Swedish driving license B.
