Job Summary

The Technical Specialist in C++ plays a crucial role in driving the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions. This position emphasizes strategic thinking and leadership, ensuring that projects align with organizational standards and client requirements. The specialist will leverage their expertise in C++ and Agile methodologies to lead teams, mentor junior developers, and implement best practices that enhance productivity and quality.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architect, Design, And Develop Robust Software Solutions Using C++ In Alignment With Project Specifications And Quality Standards, Guiding The Team Through The Delivery Process.
2. Serve As A Subject Matter Expert (Sme) In C++, Providing Technical Support And Guidance To Teams And Stakeholders Throughout The Project Lifecycle.
3. Explore And Integrate Emerging Technologies And Frameworks To Ensure Solutions Remain Current And Effective, Meeting Both Quality Standards And Client Expectations.
4. Mentor And Train Team Members In C++ Development And Agile Practices, Fostering A Culture Of Continuous Learning And Skill Enhancement To Mitigate Delivery Risks.
5. Collaborate With Clients To Gather Requirements And Specifications, Ensuring A Clear Understanding Of Their Needs And Delivering Tailored Solutions.
6. Review And Assess Project Deliverables To Ensure Compliance With Defined Quality Standards And Organizational Best Practices.
7. Identify And Recommend Initiatives That Create Value For Clients, Leveraging Industry Best Practices Specific To C++ Development And Related Technologies.

Skill Requirements

1. Advanced Proficiency In C++ Programming And Development Practices.
2. Solid Understanding Of Agile Methodologies, Including Scrum And Kanban Frameworks.
3. Good Knowledge Of Software Architecture And Design Patterns.
4. Familiarity With Optimization Techniques And Performance Tuning In C++ Applications.
5. Experience With Code Review Processes And Mentoring Team Members.

Minimum Salary (US):  77,000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
