Job Summary
As a Graduate Trainee – Monitoring Operations, responsible for monitoring IT infrastructure, applications, networks, and business-critical systems to ensure their availability, performance, and reliability. Works closely with support and operations teams to identify, analyze, and escalate alerts, incidents, and service disruptions. Supports proactive monitoring activities, incident tracking, and root cause analysis while ensuring adherence to operational procedures and service level agreements (SLAs). Gains hands-on experience with monitoring tools and contributes to maintaining a stable and efficient IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor servers, applications, networks, and services using monitoring tools.Identify, analyze, and respond to alerts and system events.Log, track, and escalate incidents to relevant support teams when required.Perform initial troubleshooting and health checks for infrastructure and applications.Maintain monitoring dashboards and ensure timely notification of critical issues.Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and escalation matrices.
Skill Requirements
Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, operating systems, and applications.Familiarity with monitoring and ticketing tools is an advantage.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to identify and prioritize critical incidents.Good communication and documentation skills.
