Job Summary

We are looking for a strategic and customer-centric Pre-Sales Bid Manager to manage the pursuits and solutioning efforts for customer RFXs. This role requires expertise in interpreting customer requirements, storyboarding solutions, and orchestrating cross-functional solution teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building a broad understanding of all solutions offered by HCL Tech and can effectively articulate the business values of each, in ways that resonate with customers. As pre-sales, you should also be able leverage and integrate various solution components from the Solution team and contribute towards building and articulate overall solution story to fulfil the customer requirements and needs. This role involves working on sales opportunities across ANZ and ASEAN territories; and involves driving deals spanning multiple technologies / service offerings, industry domains and verticals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess key client objectives and problems and HCL’s ability to win along with high level value proposition.
  • Structure and produce compelling response proposals, commercial and technical documentation outlining the commercial and value benefits to the customer
  • Liaising with multiple internal stakeholders across Legal, HR, Finance, Solutions, Delivery Etc. 
  • Financial engineering of the RFP: Understand what cost models and options suit/work for the opportunity.
  • Support sales teams across all stages of the opportunity life cycle
  • Proactive Opportunity building to propose potential business opportunities including Market and Industry research.
  • Administer and execute client visits including agenda planning, collateral presentations, and anchor meetings.
  • Pre and post visit analysis with customer feedback to understand opportunity areas and position relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare questionnaire / templates to ensure information is gathered seamlessly and shared / articulated among the internal stakeholders.
  • To maintain repository of proposal documents & previous bid responses; keep track of latest industry trends.
  • To coordinate with internal stakeholders
  • To create and maintain KM repository

Skill Requirements

  • Proven experience in IT Pre-Sales, Pursuit Management and Solutioning.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT landscapes including cloud, infrastructure, applications, and managed services.
  • Experience and understanding of AI, GenAI and Agentic AI concepts, usage  and implementation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strategic thinking with a proactive, customer-first mindset.
  • Experience in account mining and opportunity development for EN business.

  • Should be able to explore any new technology as self-starter and ability to explore new product / technology at short notice.
  • Very good communication and negotiation skills (both written and verbal).

  • Ability to manage the bridge calls with customers on technical issues/pages
  • Willingness to work in 24/7 shift environment (Including nights, weekends and holidays)
