Job Summary
To contribute to consulting projects by understanding Client business requirements ,conduct research and analyze data, to deliver high-quality consulting services.
Experience with polymers/materials and application is required.
Familiarity with elastomers, metals, and other types of materials is preferred.
Experience in manufacturing of products made of plastics/ elastomers.
Familiarity with different polymer manufacturing techniques.
Familiarity with different polymer testing and characterization techniques.
Familiarity with tool design and development.
Familiarity with sourcing, costing and project management.
Familiarity with alternate material selection.
Excellent oral communication & report, business correspondence & procedure-writing skills
Demonstrated understanding of product development lifecycles, design change and document change control, product and process verification and validation methodologies, and manufacturing/production process control methodologies
Familiarity with environmental compliance directives such as RoHS Directive, REACH Regulation, WEEE Directive, UV 328, Dechlorane Plus, POP, PFOS/PFOA Regulations, US TSCA Regulations, IEC 62321, IEC 62474, IEC 63000 Standards, Battery regulation, Packaging Directive, China RoHS, BPA Free, California Prop 65, Conflict Minerals, and Phthalates and Animal Derivatives.
Experience in qualifying new materials for various product stewardship regulations.
Experience working with third-party test labs for product stewardship testing.
Ability to analyze BOMs (Bill of Materials) for any product and provide material positions to the business.
Experience writing job aids to meet various MOC regulations that can be translated into SWI (Standard Work Instruction).
Experience working with suppliers, collecting material positions, and analyzing them.
Familiarity with tools like SAP (Product Data Management), Power BI, and IPCA Support.
Key Responsibilities
2. To contribute to the preparation of client deliverables, including reports, presentations, proposals and participate in client meetings, workshops and presentations.
3. To coordinate with technical teams for pending RICEFs
4. To train others and prepare and deliver presentations for knowledge sharing amongst different teams in the project
5. To continuously develop skills and knowledge related to consulting methodologies and stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends.
