Job Summary
The SAP BO/BW/SAC Consultant (L2) will be responsible for supporting the customer's enterprise reporting, analytics, and business intelligence landscape, with primary focus on SAP BW (BW/4HANA) and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). The role will support analytics operations, report enhancements, data modeling, dashboard development, data quality monitoring, and business reporting requirements across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, HR, Manufacturing, and Commercial functions.
The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional SAP teams, data engineering teams, and support organizations to ensure reliable, accurate, and timely delivery of management information and business insights.
Key Responsibilities
SAP BW Support & Development
- Provide L2 support for SAP BW and BW/4HANA environments.
- Monitor and resolve data load failures, process chain issues, extraction errors, and reporting defects.
- Support InfoObjects, ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, and data flow troubleshooting.
- Analyse and resolve data inconsistencies across source and target systems.
- Perform impact assessments and support enhancement requests.
- Collaborate with Basis and infrastructure teams to ensure platform stability.
SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- Support SAC stories, dashboards, planning models, and analytical applications.
- Develop and enhance executive and operational dashboards for Reckitt business functions.
- Troubleshoot SAC connectivity, model refreshes, data acquisition jobs, and security issues.
- Support business users with report interpretation and analytical requirements.
- Assist in developing KPI frameworks and management reporting solutions.
- Enable self-service analytics capabilities across business teams.
Enterprise Analytics & Reporting
- Support enterprise reporting requirements across:
- Finance
- Procurement
- Supply Chain
- Manufacturing
- Sales & Commercial Operations
- Human Resources
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and availability of analytical data.
- Participate in data governance and reporting quality initiatives.
- Assist in report rationalization and performance optimization activities.
SAP BusinessObjects (BO) Support
- Provide support for legacy SAP BO reporting solutions.
- Maintain Web Intelligence (WebI) reports and universes.
- Support report scheduling, distribution, and user access management.
- Assist with migration or modernization initiatives where applicable.
- Troubleshoot reporting and performance issues within the BO landscape.
Incident, Problem & Change Management
- Support Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request processes.
- Participate in root cause analysis and permanent fix implementation.
- Contribute to knowledge articles, runbooks, and support documentation.
- Support transition and knowledge-transfer activities.
Skill Requirements
