Job Summary

The Senior SAP SD/LE Consultant-L2 will provide functional support and operational ownership for the customer's SAP Order-to-Cash and Logistics Execution processes. The consultant will be responsible for incident resolution, service requests, defect analysis, testing support, documentation, and continuous service improvement activities within the AMS delivery model.

The role requires strong expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Logistics Execution (LE), including sales order processing, pricing, delivery management, shipment processing, billing, returns, and integration with finance, warehouse, and transportation systems.

Key Responsibilities

Application Support

  • Provide L2 support for SAP SD and LE processes across global Reckitt operations.
  • Investigate and resolve incidents, service requests, and application defects within agreed SLAs.
  • Support end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes including:
    • Inquiry and quotation processing
    • Sales order management
    • Pricing and condition techniques
    • Delivery processing
    • Shipment execution
    • Billing and invoicing
    • Returns and credit management
  • Support output determination, EDI transactions, interfaces, batch jobs, and workflow-related issues.
  • Analyze transaction failures and coordinate resolution with technical teams.

Business Process Support

  • Work closely with business users to understand issues and prevent recurring incidents.
  • Conduct impact analysis for changes and enhancements.
  • Support master data validation for customers, materials, pricing, shipping points, and routes.
  • Assist with business testing and validation activities.

Incident & Problem Management

  • Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues.
  • Create known-error records and recommended fixes.
  • Participate in problem management reviews and service improvement initiatives.
  • Escalate complex configuration issues to L3 consultants while maintaining ownership of resolution.

Change & Release Support

  • Support minor enhancements and standard configuration changes.
  • Assist in testing during release cycles and deployment activities.
  • Validate transport movements and production readiness.
  • Prepare test evidence and supporting documentation.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with:
    • Supply Chain teams
    • Customer Service teams
    • Finance teams
    • Warehouse Operations
    • Integration and Middleware teams
  • Provide regular status updates on critical production issues.
  • Participate in governance, service review, and operational meetings.

Skill Requirements

SAP Functional Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP SD and Logistics Execution.
  • Expertise in:
    • Sales Orders
    • Pricing
    • Deliveries
    • Billing
    • Returns Processing
    • Output Determination
    • Credit Management
    • Shipping & Transportation
    • Foreign Trade basics
  • Understanding of OTC business processes.

Integration Knowledge

Experience working with integrated SAP modules:

  • SAP FI
  • SAP MM
  • SAP WM / EWM
  • SAP PP
  • SAP GTS (preferred)
  • SAP TM (preferred)

Technical Awareness

  • IDocs
  • EDI interfaces
  • Batch jobs
  • Output management
  • Debugging support with ABAP teams
  • SAP Fiori applications (preferred)

Other Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
  • SAP SD certification required
  • Additional certifications in Logistics, SAP S/4HANA Sales, or Transportation Management are advantageous.

    Experience

    • 5 to 8 years of SAP SD/LE experience.
    • Minimum 3 years supporting global SAP production environments.
    • Experience working in AMS, Application Support, or Managed Services engagements.
    • Experience supporting multinational FMCG, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain organizations preferred.
