Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Technical Writer / User Assistance Developer to create, manage, and maintain high-quality technical documentation and user assistance content for products, applications, and business processes. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, Architects, QA teams, and Business Stakeholders to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, review, and maintain technical documentation, including:
• User Guides
• Installation Guides
• Release Notes
• Knowledge Base Articles
• Online Help Content
• FAQs and Training Materials
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Gather information from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Product Owners, Developers, and Business Teams to understand product features and functionality.
• Develop user-centric documentation that improves product usability and customer experience.
• Create and maintain structured content using documentation authoring tools and content management systems.
• Work closely with Development and QA teams to understand new features and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Manage documentation version control and ensure content is updated with product releases.
• Create process flows, diagrams, screenshots, and other visual aids to enhance user understanding.
• Ensure content consistency, quality, and compliance with organizational documentation standards.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide documentation support throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Analyze user feedback and continuously improve documentation effectiveness.

Required Skills

• Experience creating end-user documentation, online help systems, and technical manuals.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, English, Journalism, or a related field.
• 3-8 years of experience in Technical Writing, User Assistance Development, Content Development, or a related role.
• Experience in software product documentation, enterprise applications, SaaS products, or IT services documentation is preferred.
