Job Summary
HCLTech’ Digital Business Services is looking for experienced transition leaders for its Transition Centre of Excellence (CoE). The Transition CoE is a global team of high performing transition experts who are responsible for the full lifecycle of a customer journey from RFPs to Transition executions. Group Transition Managers should have deep knowledge, expertise, and experience of leading global application transition programs in complex and challenging environments. They should be willing to work in an individual contributor capacity as well as leading a team of transition experts for large and complex programs. Group Transition Managers are responsible for creating and defending the end-to-end transition solutions and subsequently leading the transition execution programs. Additional responsibility includes working on various initiatives with respect to enhancing the framework, automation, CoE libraries and participate in analyst/ advisor briefings.
Key Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for creating customized and ‘fit for purpose’ transition solution and sizing for large and medium sized RFPs
Review and provide guidance to team members for small sized RFPs
Ensure HCLTech’s transition framework, tools & accelerators are followed
Create week-on-week transition ramp-up and provide complete inputs for transition budgets based on CoE’s cost and effort models
Participate in internal leadership reviews to get the transition solution and budgets approved
Own the transition related content and presentations to clients bid defense and deep-dive workshops
Participate in due-diligence exercises
B. Transition Executions:
Overall responsible for the management, performance, and execution of the Transition Program
Ensure all planning is coordinated, consolidated and in line with HCL's contractual obligations
Ensure standard CoE methodology, deliverables and approach is followed for transition execution
Monitor progress of transition plan and the associated tasks and responsibilities (with respect to responsibility of HCL or client or incumbent supplier) against the transition schedule, timelines and milestones
Conduct transition cadence meetings
Identify, monitor and manage any risks or issues via an updated Transition Risk Register and take appropriate preventive and corrective measures
Review transition deliverables and ensure effective knowledge transfer
Conduct toll-gate checkpoint reviews and go/no-go meetings with client stakeholders
Conduct the Transition to Delivery handover meetings
Ensure Critical Milestones and deliverables are identified and completed on time
Monitor, track and report against the transition resource ramp-up plan
Interface with steady state delivery managers for handover
Provide leadership and guidance to transition team (TM's, TMO)
Responsible for managing all the support tracks to ensure it aligns with the overall transition objectives along with the cost and timelines.
Address program level issues with delivery team leadership and client leadership
Conduct transition closure activities as per the CoE framework
C. Transition CoE Initiatives:
Participate/ lead the CoE initiatives to enhance transition framework, accelerators, libraries, tools and templates
Prepare content for analyst meets and other CoE initiatives aimed at increasing the internal and external visibility
