Key Responsibilities
Role SummaryWe are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Lead Consultant to drive SAP landscape administration, cloud operations, security governance, monitoring, and platform stability across SAP ECC, S/4HANA, RISE, and SAP BTP environments. The role will be responsible for BASIS strategy, operational governance, system availability, compliance, cloud consumption management, and end-to-end platform support.The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in SAP BASIS administration, SAP security & GRC, cloud operations, integration platforms, and enterprise monitoring tools while leading global support and transformation initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesSAP BASIS OperationsLead administration, installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, SAP RISE, Cloud).Manage upgrades, patches, kernel upgrades, system refreshes, and migrations.Ensure system performance, availability, backup, disaster recovery, and high availability.Manage transports (TMS), system health checks, and landscape governance.Troubleshoot dumps, logs, performance issues, and critical incidents.SAP Security & GRCGovern SAP security, user administration, and authorization management.Manage SAP GRC Access Control and Identity Access Governance (IAG).Conduct Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis and risk mitigation activities.Oversee access request workflows, approvals, and compliance audits.Ensure adherence to ITGC, audit, and security standards.Monitoring & Operations ExcellenceLead monitoring initiatives using:SAP Solution ManagerSAP Cloud ALMSAP Focused RunMonitor system performance, background jobs, interfaces, integrations, and alerts.Drive proactive incident management and problem resolution.Ensure SLA compliance, uptime management, and operational KPIs.SAP RISE & Cloud Platform ManagementManage SAP RISE consumption, utilization, and optimization.Monitor cloud resources, cost controls, and service availability.Support SAP BTP extensions, AI services, and cloud integrations.Coordinate with SAP ECS and hyperscaler teams for infrastructure management.Integration & Landscape ManagementManage SAP integration platforms including:SAP PI/POSAP CPIAPIsEvent MeshEnsure consistency across Development, QA, Pre-Production, and Production environments.Collaborate with functional and technical teams on issue resolution and enhancements.Govern landscape architecture and platform standards.Leadership & GovernanceLead BASIS support, operations, and transformation teams.Define operational standards, governance models, and best practices.Manage stakeholders, vendors, and managed service partners.Drive automation, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.Provide regular operational and executive status reporting.Seniority LevelMid-Senior levelIndustryIT Services and IT ConsultingEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionsFinanceSkillsIT Service ManagementAnalytical SkillsService-Level Agreements (SLA)ManagementStatutory Accounting Principles (SAP)Application Programming Interfaces (API)Cost EngineeringContinuous
