Job Summary

  • Design, develop, and maintain RDF/OWL ontologies and semantic data models aligned with business requirements.
  • Build and manage knowledge graphs using standards like RDF, RDFS, OWL, and SKOS.
  • Define classes, properties, relationships, and constraints to ensure semantic consistency and data interoperability.
  • Collaborate with domain experts to translate business concepts into formal ontologies.
  • Develop and execute SPARQL queries for data extraction, validation, and transformation.
  • Perform data mapping and transformation from relational and non-relational sources into RDF formats.
  • Use tools such as Protégé, TopBraid, Stardog, GraphDB, or similar semantic platforms.
  • Implement ontology governance, versioning, and documentation standards.
  • Ensure data quality, reasoning, and inference rules using semantic reasoning engines.
  • Work closely with data engineers and application teams to integrate semantic models into enterprise systems and APIs.
